This is a blog which I'm going to fill with my inspirations, obsessions and basically anything which I find weird or wonderful (usually both, and usually fashion-related). So to start with I guess I should give you an idea of where my current fashion inspiration comes from, which I should add, is a great many places!
First and foremost is the e-famous model and blogger Audrey Kitching - she thrifts, DIYs and transforms clothing to complete her feminine high-fashion meets rock chic look. Audrey combines vintage and handmade pieces with nail art, studs, sequins and glitter and carries it off perfectly with her trademark candy-floss and lavender hair.
Secondly, and for want of a more suitable picture, I am a glutton for Psychobilly (particularly bands such as The Other and Mad Sin). Psychobilly encaptures three things which I love greatly: Punk, horror and 50's pin-up style. Do not get me started on my fetish for leopard print! Oh, and did I forget to mention how great stacked creepers are?
My most recent obsession is Twiggy Ramirez - former bassist of Marilyn Manson. A cross-dresser (albeit a very attractive one) with smudged lipstick, hair like a bird's nest and the disposition of a unhinged inpatient in a psychiatric ward. I adore his whole persona - 90's baby-doll dresses and children's tape player complete with back-masked music, yes please!
One of my more expensive obsessions when it comes to fashion is that of Japanese Street Fashion, Gothloli (Gothic Lolita) in particular - the clothes look like works of art, not to mention they make you look like a porcelain doll - in my case a porcelain doll with very messy hair, black eyes and pale skin. I'm going to have to restrain myself from blogging constantly about lolita culture.
Anyway, that's enough of my ramblings for one day!
